Our shunting tug fleet consists of some of the world leading shunting vehicle manufacturers that suit all operations. We’re proud to have links with the market-leading manufacturers, enabling us to provide the right tug for the right price.

We also provide a seven-day support service and the capability to provide national coverage thanks to our nationwide network. This also allows us to deliver a flexible working pattern to cover changing seasonal workloads during periods such as Christmas.

For transporting heavy machinery, we also have several low-loaders which are designed to allow machinery or other vehicles to be driven directly onto the trailer itself. These vehicles are ideal for moving loads that other vehicles are unable to manoeuvre.

We carefully service our fleet at our workshop in Gloucestershire and at our customer sites, adhering to the highest level of quality assurance and in line with the manufacturers’ guidelines.

The same facility is home to all other divisions of the William Gilder Group, including our workshop for servicing our haulage fleet and our spare parts supply operation. All situated off Junction 9 of the M5 motorway.

Many of our shunter tug fleet is able to run on HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) fuel, a fossil-free alternative to the traditional diesel fuel that most tugs run on. We also have a partner for the hire and supply of electric tugs.
